Anne Derse: "The United States support anti-corruption fight of Azerbaijani powers"

The United States of America continue supporting Azerbaijan in combat with corruption, said US ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary in Azerbaijan by results of the conference on "Raising effectiveness and transparency of the legislative process", aimed to curb corruption.

"We often hear people in the United States saying that parliament is a heart and an integral part of democracy. This is said because the parliament members are people who have a right to represent citizens' in the parliament and take law-making activity on their behalf.

She said in conditions of democracy citizens have real rights and opportunities to manage the public processes.

Derse highly evaluated the steps, taken in Milli Medjlis, aimed at combat with corruption.
