Deputy commander of U.S. European command visits Azerbaijan

As Trend informs citing the US embassy in Baku, in addition to discussing our military-to-military relations and security interests in the region, General Wald will also visit the headquarters of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and meet ANAMA Director Nazim Ismaylov to discuss ongoing U.S. support for ANAMA and humanitarian demining projects in Azerbaijan.

General Wald is responsible for all U.S. forces across 91 countries in Europe, Africa, Russia, and parts of Asia and the Middle East.
