Date set for Latvian president’s visit to Azerbaijan

“The visit will take place on August 9-13,” he said.

Latvian President will visit only Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus, he added.

“Zatlers will be accompanied with government members and businessmen who will discuss deepening cooperation with Azerbaijani counterparts,” the ambassador said.

Several documents on bilateral cooperation is expected to be signed during the visit.

According to the Azerbaijan State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan-Latvia trade turnover totalled $7.86 million in 2008.
