Azerbaijani president offers Independence Day greetings to Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has sent a letter of congratulation to Kazakh leader Nursultan Nazarbayev on his country`s Independence Day.

“Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan enjoy historic friendship. I`m sure we will continue joint efforts to develop our relations and expand the scope of our cooperation,” said the Azerbaijani leader.

President Ilham Aliyev wished the Kazakh leader “robust health and successes in your activities,” and “the friendly people of Kazakhstan peace and welfare."
