Azerbaijani deputy FM: Azerbaijan not intends to influence Iran

"Azerbaijan and Iran are friendly neighbor countries," Azerbaijani deputy foreign minister said.
"Azerbaijan and Iran have no intention to influence each other”, Khalafov told media on Dec. 12.

“We are friendly and neighbor countries. I believe relations between two countries should be based on principles of non-interference in domestic affairs of each other and mutual respect," Khalafov said in response to a question about French president’s request to Azerbaijani leader to influence Iran using his authority.
