Azerbaijan's concerns over Turkey-Armenia normalization understandable: Kazakh president

"Azerbaijan's concerns over the Turkey-Armenia relations are understandable. Azerbaijan should be informed about the Turkey-Armenia rapprochement," Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev said in an interview to the Turkish newspaper Sabah on the eve of his Ankara visit.

The president said peace and stability in the Caucasus will promote positive resolution to the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Nazarbayev said he is one of supporters of establishing peace in the Caucasus and normalization the Turkey-Armenia relations.

The public of the two countries should be informed about these issues, Nazarbayev added.
