Azerbaijan’s opposition party determines list of candidates for municipal elections

He said the party is determining the list of candidates who will participate in the municipal elections.

Adalat party gives much preference to elections to local self-government bodies. We intend to nominate those candidates who have better chance to win.

“The final list of candidates will be approved in September at a meeting of the Supreme Majlis,” Rahimov said.

He said the party will not join any bloc or association before the elections, because it does not consider it to be effective.

Adalat party is chaired by MP Ilyas Ismayilov.
