U.S. will contribute to credibility of Azerbaijan’s armed forces in int’l arena: military expert

“The military consultations between the United States and Azerbaijan are especially useful for our country. Azerbaijan cooperates with the United States under the program Partnership for Peace, but direct military consultations will give additional impetus to the development of bilateral relations between the countries and the United States will pay more attention defense and security in Azerbaijan,” he said.

“Azerbaijan has surplus not only within the NATO but also in bilateral relations with the United States. The Americans are actively involved in security matters the Caspian region and the Caspian Sea. They actively help the Azerbaijan’s navy. It's no secret that the U.S. helps us not only with consultations, but it has supplied free of charge high-speed boats for the Caspian Sea,” Jafarov said.

“Nothing passes without leaving a trace, and experience that Azerbaijan learns from the leading alliance country is very useful and important,” the expert said.
