The new head of the OSCE Baku office attaches a significant role to organization's mission in Azerbaijan.

The mission advances and implements organization's principles in the country through cooperation with local administrations and civil society.
Ali Bilge Cankorel officially takes office in OSCE Baku office of April 10.
Before, Cankorel was the advisor to Turkish Prime Minister. He worked in Canada, China and Switzerland, as well as he was a Turkish Ambassador to Afghanistan and later to Ukraine.
He replaced in this post Luis Herrera Anzola, whose diplomatic mission concluded in December last year.
"I will try to be a part of OSCE efforts in Azerbaijan," Cankorel said.
Cankorel will arrive in Baku the next week.
