Azerbaijan retains position as geopolitical leader in South Caucasus: Strategic Study Center head

Azerbaijan occupies a leading position in the global energy market. The new U.S. administration has shown a significant interest not only in the geopolitical position of Azerbaijan, but also its geo-economic situation, Nuriyev told Trend News.

Nuriyev added that Azerbaijan's geo-economic role is growing with each day.

Azerbaijan occupies an important place on the international arena, and continues to maintain and strengthen its geopolitical position in the South Caucasus, Nuriyev said.

The balanced, pragmatic and multi-vector foreign policy of Azerbaijan shows that the country managed to convey its position to the international community, Nuriyev said.
