Though, editor-in-chief G.Zahid was not present in the court, his rights were defended by lawyer Elchin Sadikhov.

The judge read the list of parties' rights and duties and offered them to reconcile. Sadikhov said reconciliation is possible only if his defender's manuscripts are returned. The judge initiated proceedings on the said case and appointed a court hearing for August 14, 15:00.

It should be noted that by the information of the Institute for Reporter Freedom and Safety, head of the Bail investigation facility Misir Aliyev took Zahid's manuscripts under pretense of reading and has not yet returned them.

During the meeting with head of the isolator, Zahid's wife Ayanda Mursaliyeva was told that the manuscripts will not be returned to the journalist, as they contain antigovernmental information, therefore, they intend to compile an act and terminate them.
