The Armenian Defense Ministry state that numerous cases of ceasefire violation by Azerbaijan have been registered on the border since the beginning of this year.

"This problem will not stay beyond NATO's attention and not being directly involved into the resolution of Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the alliance is closely watching the development, particularly, the progress in the negotiation process", Mkrtchan told reporters Saturday.

According to him, OSCE is the most effective structure, engaged in the conflict resolution and many years of activity of personal representative of OSCE chairman-in-office Andzhei Kaspshik seems especially effective for NATO.

At the same time, the head of the mission noted that the "North Atlantic alliance is ready to assist to implementation of any peace treaty in case of its signing and adoption and provision of due conditions.
