"The proposal of the chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party Sardar Jalaloghlu about holding a dialogue does not carry anything positive in it", said deputy chairman of Azerbaijan's Popular Front Party Hasan Kerimov.
He noted that Sardar Jalaloghlu had called for a dialogue for more than a year but no steps had been taken in this direction so far.
"In current realities I do not think that any dialogue between the powers and opposition is possible. Perhaps, a kind of a dialogue will be arranged before the presidential elections to involve parties, close to the Democratic Party in their views, yet it would be impossible to call it a dialogue and we do not intend to join it.
We have had different views with Sardar Jalaloghlu since 2005", said Kerimov.
