Huseyin Avni Karslioglu: "Turkey always supports fraternal Azerbaijan"

Turkey has always been supporting fraternal Azerbaijan, said the country`s ambassador in Baku Huseyin Avni Karslioglu at a press conference dedicated to the 16th anniversary of establishment of Azerbaijan-Turkey official relations.

He said “relations between the two states are expanding”, and stressed that Turkey has always been backing “friendly and fraternal” Azerbaijan`s stance.

Karslioglu praised Azerbaijan`s achievements of the last few years.

The Turkish envoy pointed out the successful implementation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil and Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum gas pipelines projects, and said the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad project is also considered to be a success.

He noted both Azerbaijan and Turkey have big potential to increase mutual trade to $3 billion.
