Azerbaijan to send delegation to Russia

Mass deportation of Azerbaijani citizens has not taken place in connection with the application of the law "On migration" in the Russian Federation.

Official of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Shakir Salimov told the APA that 7 headquarters established in the main cities of the Russian Federation have received 300-400 appeals.

This kind of headquarters also functions in the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad and the relatives of the Azerbaijanis living in Russia appeal there.

A working group composed of 7 ministries, as well as 3 officers of the President's Office is established for investigation and solution of the problems of Azerbaijanis engaged in trade in Russia.

The head of the working group is the chief of the State Committee on Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad Nazim Ibrahimov.

Shakir Salimov said that our compatriots in Russia are not expected to have any serious problem till January 15. He said a delegation will be send to Russia soon.
