Azerbaijani cities to participate in Council of Europe project

Ten Azerbaijani cities will participate in the Council of Europe project entitled "Restoration of cultural heritage of historical cities". Report on the status of cultural heritage should be prepared to participate in the project, Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture and Tourism said.

Council of Europe expert Robert Picard recently visited Baku to familiarize with the cultural heritage of the country. The report must be delivered by Sept. 20. The project "Restoration of cultural heritage of historical cities" was launched last year. The project aims to assists cities in their socio-economic development and restoration of monuments.
