Azerbaijan-Europe bike week launched

The Bicycle Week started at Azneft Square. The route includes Gobustan, Shamakhi, Ismayilli, Gabala, Goychay and Mingecgevir regions and will wrap up in Ganja on Sept. 6.

The event has brought together 32 bikers from 14 countries including 11 bikers from Azerbaijan.

The main objective of the Week is to raise the profile of cycling as a healthy, easy, low cost and environmentally friendly alternative to driving, promote energy and food security, a wholesome living and ecological awareness.
