"Group of Iranians sentenced in Azerbaijan, extradited to Iran"

A group of Iranians who are serving sentences in Azerbaijan, was handed over to Iran, the Justice Ministry penal service told Trend. Today, Azerbaijani scholar Rashid Aliyev was released from the Iranian prison. He has already arrived in Baku. About 12 Iranian prisoners, including one woman, were extradited to Iran according to the protocol signed between the countries, Iranian news agency FARS reported. About 664 foreign citizens are imprisoned in Azerbaijan.
