21 June 2010 [13:35] - TODAY.AZ
Azerbaijani embassy in Kyrgyzstan is working to help remaining Azerbaijanis to leave the country.
“We plan to send remaining three students home as soon as possible,” advisor to Azerbaijan embassy Ilgar Jabbarobv said.

“One student studies in Osh and two in Jalalabad. We plan to send them back on June 26,” the embassy advisor added.

Jabbarov said Azerbaijani embassy continues to work as usual.

“There is no change in work of the embassy. On the contrary, we work longer hours due to the current situation,” he noted.

Jabbarov said the situation in Kyrgyzstan is still tense. “There is tense atmosphere among population. Shots are still heard in the villages of Osh province, the roads are closed and military men cannot get there.”
