3500 people appeal for Hajj in Azerbaijan this year

Pilgrims will visit Hajj by bus on November 22, 2008, Haji Salman Musayev, Deputy Chairman of Caucasus Muslims Office said, APA reports.
He said 3500 people had appealed for pilgrimage by now this year. To him, these pilgrims will visit Hajj by support of CMO as well as five private companies.

"Three companies, which delivered pilgrims last year, will not participate in the process this year", he said.

Plane ticket costs AZN 3500, bus fare is AZN 2500 this year. Musayev linked price rises with increase of energy deliveries.

"Moreover, we ensure convenience for pilgrims year by year," he said. Azerbaijan has been allocated AZN 6000-member quota this year. Admission on pilgrimage to Hajj continues.
