Vaccination against measles and German measles started

According to APA, President Ilham Aliyev attended the event in Orphanage #1 in Nizami district. The state head stressed the importance of the campaign and said the vaccination campaign against measles and German measles, held throughout the world, was important for people's health, in particular, young generation.

Mr. Aliyev expressed his gratitude about Mistislav Rostropovich's participation in the event. The President said the "Vishnevskaya-Rostropovich" Charitable Foundation was the main partner of the vaccination campaign and thanked to the world-famous musician for his charitable initiatives.

Mr.Rostropovich said he's proud of this partnership and stressed significance of further continuation.

The vaccination of the orphanage started right after the event.
