Local company to build HPP on Chelta River in Georgia

Georgian company Peri will construct the Chelta hydropower plant (Kakheti region, Eeastern Georgia), Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) told Trend.

The company won the tender announced by GOGC.

Peri should ensure work for study, drafting, engineering and procurement activities. The HPP’s capacity is 15 megawatt.

GOGC subsidiary company "Development of green energy of Georgia" announced a tender to construct a hydropower plant on the Chelta River in the Shilda village in May 2011.
