Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoğlu is in Brussels

Turkish FM Ahmet Davutoğlu is in Brussels in his capacity as the term-president of Council of Europe Committee of Ministers, TRT English reported.

In Brussels, Davutoğlu met EU High Commissioner for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton at the Council of Europe -EU High Level Dialogue Meeting.

Besides institutional relations between Council of Europe and the European Union, relations with EU neighbor regions and regional developments were taken up at the meeting.

In Davutoğlu's list of contacts in Brussels, there are these figures: Guy Verhofstadt, Liberal Group Leader of European Parliament, Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Steven Vanackere, EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Füle and Internal Affairs Commissioner Cecilia Malmström.
