29 September 2010 [16:37] - TODAY.AZ
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu analyzed the situation in the South Caucasus during his speech at the US Harvard University.

“Do not close doors, do not blame us and yet listen,” said Ahmet Davutoglu, warning Armenian and Armenian lobby. He noted Turkey took steps to solve problems with Armenia.

The Turkish minister underlined the need to properly assess historical events, adding Muslims faced atrocities in the Anadolu lands where they lived for ages. According to him, Turks were also exiled from Balkan countries but Ankara does no accuse these nations. All Meskheti Turks were deported during Stalin's rule but no one accuses Russia. Armenians must give up telling their lop-sided stories to the world community and have to be objective to the historical events.

Davutoglu pointed out Armenia becomes increasingly poor and the situation worsens as a result o the non-constructive position.
