“The electoral institution in Azerbaijan works well and effectively enough”, Russian observer Stanislav Tkachenko said.

According to Tkachenko, the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly mission was absolutely free to choose the polling station for observation.
“We have been divided into several groups. Each group included observers from several countries. We had a standard procedure to conduct a monitoring. In accordance with this procedure we checked the voter list, carried out a monitoring, and watched the voting process. Thus, each group managed to monitor the voting in 10 polling stations”, Tkachenko said.
Tkachenko said he is fully satisfied with the results of the observation.
