Head of Kars municipality: "Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is more important for Kars than BTC"

The Head of Kars municipality Naif Alibeyoglu received a group of Azerbaijani media chiefs who are on visit to Igdir and Kars.

Alibeyoglu expressed his satisfaction with the development of Azerbaijan-Turkey relations. He said that Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is more important for Kars than Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan.

"If this project is implemented, Kars will get $250 million income and access to the market of Caucasus and Central Asia," he said, APA correspondent reports.
