Man kills his mother in Azerbaijan

A murder was committed in Masalli region of Azerbaijan.

The incident was recorded in the region’s Rudakanar village. Representative of regional executive power Hikmat Khanmammadov said that resident of Rudakanar village, Shukurov Gafil Zakir, born in 1972, killed his mother Shukurova Sohrat Tapdig, born in 1953, with an axe. Shukurov escaped from the site. He is reported to skulk in Talish woods.

He was reported to be a mental patient. The operational search are carried out by region’s law-enforcement bodies for his detention.
