Deputy Minister: Azerbaijan is considered as one of the most stable countries in CIS and Eastern Europe

“Azerbaijan is considered as one of the most stable countries among the CIS and Eastern European countries.

Thousands of guests arrive in the country every day and they especially note the stability and reduction of crimes”, said Deputy Interior Minster Oruj Zalov.

He said that the ministry’s “102” service was also functioning in the regions and 2500-3000 appeals were received via hotline service every day. “But 80 percent of those appeals are irrelevant to the bodies of internal affairs”, the deputy minister said.

Zalov said that the Soviet passports of the Azerbaijani citizens, especially refugees from Armenia were saved in the ministry.
