Azerbaijani President receives Algerian Minister of Religious Affairs

Today, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received Algerian Minister of Religious Affairs Abou Abdullah Ghlamallah.

He said that he paid a visit to Azerbaijan for the first time, and noted that a large development and progressive processes in the country made a great impression on him.

The guest thanked President Ilham Aliyev for the opportunity to be acquainted with Azerbaijan. He highly appreciated the significance of the summit of world religious leaders in Baku, and wished that the thoughts and ideas voiced at the summit to be implemented.

The President noted the importance of expanding bilateral relations. President Ilham Aliyev said that there are good opportunities for the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Algeria. He stressed the importance of mutual visits at various levels. He emphasized Baku's summit of world religious leaders and expressed confidence that the summit will give good results.
