
MPs of the Azerbaijani Milli Mejlis (Parliament) will leave for France in order to attend the spring session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE).
"PACE spring session will be held April 26-30 in Strasbourg. The session will be attended by a group of MPs headed by PACE Vice President and head of the Azerbaijani Delegation to PACE, Azerbaijani Parliamentary International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee Chairman Samad Seyidov," the Parliament said.
The group includes MPs Gultekin Hajibeyli, Ganira Pashayeva, Rafael Huseynov, Aydin Abbasov and Sabir Hajiyev. "Reports on the results of the Bureau, the Standing Committee of the Assemblym will be heard, views will be exchanged on the fight against extremism, the impact of the global economic crisis, the outcome of the war between Georgia and Russia, as well as on issues relating to migrants and refugees, climate change, the obligations of Montenegro and other issues at the session," - said in the statement.
The head of Azerbaijani delegation Samad Seyidov and MPs, who will express their attitude on the session's agenda, are expected to address at the session.
