Azerbaijani president congratulates Romanian counterpart on reelection

The letter says: “Relations between Azerbaijan and Romania are developing in various fields, including the political, economic and humanitarian ones. Expansion of our relations contributes to ensuring the regional cooperation and security.”

President Ilham Aliyev recalled bilateral meetings, describing them as “fruitful”.

The President stressed the importance of reciprocal visits.
President Ilham Aliyev also emphasized the “friendly relations” between the two countries` leaders.

“An agreement on establishing strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Romania signed during my official visit to your country is a vivid evidence of our deep-rooted relations,” said the Azerbaijani leader.

The Head of State expressed confidence that “we will continue joint efforts to preserve friendly relations and develop Azerbaijan-Romania intergovernmental cooperation”.

President Ilham Aliyev wished the Romanian leader “robust health, happiness and successes in your activities for the welfare of the friendly people of Romania”.
