Presidential administration official says Azerbaijan will not cancel parliamentary elections

"Azerbaijan has money to hold elections, moreover, we can offer assistance to other states to hold elections,” Presidential Administration Socio-Political Department Chief Ali Hasanov said while commenting on MP Aydin Hasanov’s proposal to postpone the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan.

Hasanov said that democratic distribution of power in Azerbaijan, elections, and other republic events are realized in line with the related schedule.

“Their postponement is not being discussed. It is inappropriate to raise such issues,” he said.
