Azerbaijan’s opposition party nominates candidates for municipal elections

Azerbaijan Liberal Democratic Party (ALDP) has held its next meeting, ALDP chairman Fuad Aliyev said.
He said the meeting discussed the participation of LDPA in the upcoming municipal elections to be held on Dec. 23.

"LDPA at a high level preparing to participate in municipal elections and is currently conducting educational work among the candidates. Party has identified a list of candidates. It is envisaged that the elections will involve 1,000 candidates from the party,” he said.

LDPA chairman also said the party plans to hold meetings in country’s regions soon.
