“The main thing for Azerbaijan in this regard is to persuade Armenia in a non-violent manner to liberate occupied Azerbaijani lands,” Azerbaijani member of parliament Asim Mollazade said commenting on a statement by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan who said Turkey and Armenia will sign a deal to establish diplomatic relations on Oct. 10.

“Let them sign it,” Mollazade said.
"The main question that we are interested in is the reopening of borders between Armenia and Turkey. But it will not take place without achieving a progress in the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. This has been repeatedly stated by both Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Speaker of Turkish of parliament,” the MP said.
Under the Swiss mediation, Turkey and Armenia have reached an agreement to start of "internal political consultations" to sign the ‘Protocol on Establishing Diplomatic Relations’ and ‘Protocol on Development of Bilateral Relations.’
