In all variants Turkey will act for the common interests of Azerbaijan and Turkey, said Asim Mollazade, chairman of the Party of Democratic Reforms, commenting on the statement of Foreign Ministry of Turkey about attainment of a framework agreement about normalizing of ties with Armenia.
"Any action of Turkey, contradicting to our national interests - interests of Turkey and Azerbaijan, will cause a serious misunderstanding and protest of our countries. Therefore, I think that in this case we mostly deal with a lack of information, wrong comments and the intention of definite powers to create a problem in the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey", said he.
According to the parliamentarian, the Turkish President and Prime Minister were absolutely sincere when saying that no improvement of relations between Armenia and Turkey is possible without the resolution of the Karabakh conflict.
"I think the "road map" implies that today Turkey is demonstrating to Armenia the availability of potential of serious improvement in relations in case the occupational forces liberate the Azerbaijani lands. Azerbaijan is also interested in the improvement of relations between Armenia and Turkey in serious advancement in the issues of the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict, which primarily implies the liberation of the occupied lands", noted Mollazade.
He said the road map implies that if Armenia goes for resolution of the conflict in the framework of international world agreements and international legislation, Yerevan has serious prospects on improvement of relations with Ankara and participation in most international processes.
