Azerbaijani FM: Through a short period of time Azerbaijan passed a long way of cooperation with NATO

"In the framework of this cooperation Azerbaijan is conducting reforms in the defense sphere and is currently recognized as an expert-country on holding border control, actively takes part in ensuring energy security, attaining expansion of dialogue and application of practical knowledge in this field", said he.

The deputy minister noted that Azerbaijan has gained a unique experience in creation of special training centers and started to contribute in this direction.

"We took an active part in the peacekeeping operations in Kosovo and Iraq, partake in the NATO peacekeeping mission in Afghanistan. I believe that the future of Afghanistan will be wonderful. We are viewing the new horizons of cooperation with courage.

This indicates the fact that much has been done through a short period".
