The relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia can be featured as warm, cordial and fraternal, said vice speaker of the Georgian parliament, head of the parliamentary group of friendship Azerbaijan-Georgia Fridon Todua.

"I am sure that there are no problems but just a number of issues that should be settled in the near future between our countries. I am sure that the Georgian people will never forget the support of Azerbaijani people in our hard times".
As for the definite projects of our mutually profitable cooperation, he stressed the oil and gas pipelines, passing via Georgia.
"I hope for implementation of the Nabucco project in the future.
The wisdom and farsightedness of such great politician as Heydar Aliyev helped to choose the routes of the pipelines via Georgia: Baku-Supsa and Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan.
Owing to his talents Azerbaijan ensured strategic partnership with Georgia", noted Todua.
According to him, friendship between Azerbaijan and Georgia is based not only on oil but also on old traditions.
He also spoke of the process of implementation of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad.
"The project is executed under schedule. As is known, this project is mostly financed by Azerbaijan. This is an important project that will make the countries of our region closer.
I hope in the near future the Karabakh problem will be settled and Armenia will be able to join the regional projects when needed. This will encourage strengthening of ties in the region.
Moreover, despite Armenia's resistance, it is impossible to stop implementation of this project, as it is already underway", noted the Georgian vice speaker of parliament.
He voiced Georgia's support to the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and stressed the need for the peaceful resolution of the Karabakh conflict adding that European countries and Russia should contribute to this issue.
