Azerbaijani FM: "Eastern Partnership" promotes expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and EU"

Grant spoke of the prospects of development of cooperation between the two countries, stressed important role of the Eastern Partnership initiative of the European Union for the process of restoration of peace and stability in the South Caucasus.

Mamedyarov in turn voiced satisfaction with the development of bilateral Azerbaijani-British relations and noter that the Eastern Partnership program promotes further enhancement of cooperation of Azerbaijan with the EU states.

The meeting participants also discussed the regional issues, Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh and other issues of mutual concern.
