Czech Prime Minister arrives in Azerbaijan

Prime Minister of Czech Republic, holding the EU Presidency, Mirek Topolanek arrived in Baku. The guest was welcomed at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport by Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Arthur Rasizadeh. Topolanek will be received by Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh and President Ilham Aliyev. The main goal of the visit is to discuss the energy security issues.

The Czech Prime Minister is on a tour on the Caspian littoral states. He was on a visit to Kazakhstan on February 12 and met with President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister Karim Masimov. Topolanke visited Ashgabad last evening and held negotiations with President of Turkmenistan Kurbankuli Berdimuhammedov this morning.
