Muasir Musavat party to create an initiative group on referendum

He said an instruction was given to the regional organizations to prepare lists of activists to be included into the group.

"We will resist radical forces, that want to boycott the referendum. In line with the law, the party will submit documents to the Central Electoral Commission for registration of the initiative group, collect the necessary number of signatures and hold agitation and propaganda in support of the referendum.

In the near future the party will prepare a plan on the basis of which we are going to conduct our activity. We will hold the agitation campaign as required by the Electoral Code", noted Hajiyev.

Notablu, on December 31 of 2008 the Yeni Azerbaijan party declared creation of an initiative group in support of a referendum scheduled for March 18.
