Khazar Ibrahim: "The principle of self-determination envisions a definite status, not going beyond the framework of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the state"

We also recognize the principle of self-determination of people during the resolution of the conflict, said spokesman for Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Khazar Ibrahim commenting on the statement of US co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza, made during the meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan that any resolution of the conflict must take into account both the territorial integrity and the right of nations for self-determination.

At the same time, he noted that self-determination can only be possible in the framework of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
