The Azerbaijan National Independence Party has sent an appeal against the major's office Thursday, reports Day.Az with reference to the press service for the party.
As is reported as in 2007 the party was not permitted to hold action against the decision of the Tariff Council on raising prices at the Fizuli square, the major's office thus violated the law "On freedom of assembly" and "Freedom of speech".
Earlier it was reported that if the claim of the party is not granted in Azerbaijan, the party will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.
The party notably started the claim filing from October of 2007.
