Chairman of Azerbaijan Green Party to appeal to Supreme Court against Central Election Commission

According to the press service, the Appellate Court did not grant the party's appeal about the failure of the Central Election Commission to register the party's candidate for presidency, explaining that over 10,000 signatures are invalid.

"Yet, we are not going to stop. In the near future, we will file a claim to the Supreme Court, for the CEC accusations of collecting false signatures, are wrong.

They blame us for collecting 300 signatures from the underaged citizens of Azerbaijan. If so, let them show which were those signatures?

We intend to continue the process and we hope to gain success", noted he.

It should be noted that the chairman of the party Mais Gulaliyev nominated his candidacy from the "green policy" initiative group.
