US Ambassador to Azerbaijan: "Events on the front line prove the necessity to continue talks with OSCE Minsk Group"

The due announcement was made by the US Ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse.

"The United States call on both sides to undertake due measures to prevent ceasefire violation", she noted.

Derse also stressed that forced resolution of the conflict is impossible: "The resolution can be settled only peacefully. Such speculations damage stability in the region.

The events prove the necessity to continue talks of the both sides with the OSCE Minsk Group. We have contacted the government and embassies of other countries. Matthew Bryza holds talks with the governments-in Baku yesterday and in Yerevan today. He tries to explain to the sides that the problem can be settled only peacefully".
