Shusha's occupation to be protested outside UN headquarters

Azerbaijani Society and Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) will organize a protest action outside the UN headquarters on the 15th anniversary of occupation of Azerbaijani town of Shusha (Karabakh) by Armenian forces on May 8.

The picketers will demand liberation of Azerbaijani lands and implementation of related UN resolutions. They will also ask new UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon to take stance on Armenia's aggressive policy and arsons committed last year on the front line.

Official Yerevan's aggressive policy, which is in conflict with international law norms, committing ecological disasters, holding 'elections' in the occupied territories will be mentioned in the appeal addressed to the UN Secretary General. APA
