President Aliyev meets Spanish Health Minister

Mrs. Salgado said she was the fist member of the Spain's government to visit Azerbaijan, and expressed hope the visit would play an important role in expansion of relations between the two countries.

She pointed out that her government is interested in developing relations with Azerbaijan in various fields noting that there are good opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation.
President Ilham Aliyev said he hopes that this visit would contribute to development of relations between Azerbaijan and Spain.

He described the recent opening of Azerbaijani Embassy in Spain as the evidence of importance Azerbaijan attaches to development of its relations with Spain, the President's Office press service told the APA.
