Turkish General Staff chief meets with Azerbaijani Defense Minister

The General Staff chief visited the tomb of the then President Heydar Aliyev in the Honor Alley and Martyrs Alley.

Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Safar Abiyev received the delegation led by Mr.Ozkok.

Mr.Abiyev congratulated the General Staff chief on the occasion of conferment of highest award "Shohrat" Order on him pointing out Turkey’s essential role in strengthening Azerbaijani independence. Ozkok said this award belongs to the Turkish Armed Forces, APA reports.
