A rally in support of Samvel Karapetyan will be held in Yerevan today. Karapetyan himself will not be present — for a good reason: he is in jail, and today, most likely, his detention will be extended.

It is unclear what the organizers of the rally are hoping to achieve or what their true goals are. Do they want to bring more people to the square to report back to their patron? Or, on the contrary, are they trying to attract new sponsors from a certain northern country?
