PACE Election Observation Mission Head visits Azerbaijan

Leo Platvoet, Head of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) Election Observation Mission for partial re-run of the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan has arrived in Baku tonight.

As APA reports, the Council of Europe Information Office in Azerbaijan informs that Mr.Platvoet will have talks in the Central Election Commission, election alliances and political parties tomorrow to familiarize with the pre-electoral situation in the country.

The mission will observe electoral process in all of the ten constituencies. It will announce its preliminary assessment on 14 May.
