President Ilham Aliyev lays foundation stone for Alibeyli village in Zangilan district [PHOTOS]

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has visited the Zangilan district.

The head of state laid a foundation stone for the Alibeyli village.

Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan districts, which are part of the East Zangazur economic region, Vahid Hajiyev informed the head of state about the Alibeyli village.

The total projected area of the village is 170.3 hectares. 2-3-storey houses consisting of 498 private houses and 144 apartments are planned to be designed for 2,568 residents in the Alibeyli village. The first phase will see design and construction of 197 private houses for 772 residents.

The facilities at the village will include an administrative building, community club and guest house, sports health center, school, bazaar complex, a ceremonial hall, catering facilities and others.

It is also planned to build two schools for 462 pupils and two kindergartens for 160 children in the Alibeyli village.
